A community shopping center complete with a professional building at 439-449 E. 31st St., Lake Meadows Shopping Center, (312) 225-4288, serves the immediate and surrounding residential and commercial areas, as well as shoppers from other communities as well.
Lake Meadows Shopping Center provides products and services for individuals’ and families’ every need–apparel, shoes, home furnishings and design, electronics, financial services, restaurants and eateries, groceries, entertainment, a variety of business services, fitness, travel, medical, legal, automotive, and more.
Among the apparel shops at Lake Meadows Shopping Center are: Ashley Stewart, Footlocker, Rainbow Kids, Juniors, Rainbow Shops, and City Steppers for men’s and boys clothing.
Anchor stores — Jewel Food Store and Walgreen’s — also are situated in the Lake Meadows Shopping Center.
Walgreen’s is the home for Santa, where he will be welcoming children for free photos on Sat., Dec. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. Photos can be picked up one hour after the photo is taken at the same location.
