Dear Editor:
I congratulate your celebration of the 27th anniversary of your publication, the Gazette.
Your commitment is a lesson to all who wish to communicate with a print audience. One must have a sense of mission, of relevance to the lives of people. Clearly, you have adopted that mission and have that relevance.
A substantial number of people depend on you for information and engagement in the community. Your work is of great importance not only to them, but to all who believe that written communication makes society better.
Thank you for your dedication, and best wishes as you continue on your honorable and vital work.
Sincerely,
Maria Pappas
Cook County Treasurer
