Candidates for attorney general are incumbent and Democrat Lisa Madigan and attorneys Steve Kim, Republican; David Black, Green; and Bill Malan, Libertarian.

Madigan has worked to protect women and children from sexual predators, protect consumers from fraud and unsafe products, protect the environment, and enact measures to combat the spread of methampheamine addiction.

In troubling economic times, Madigan has fought hard against predatory lenders. She has made her office and its records more accessible to the public.

Lisa Madigan has done an excellent job, and there is no need to make a change in this office. She gets our endorsement.
